As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy retail and mall location, helping to create a welcoming environment through a visible presence, strong communication, and responsive support. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help document suspicious behavior, enforce access and property rules, and report policy violations or hazards to site management.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and daily observations, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or the client representative.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
