Join Allied Universal as an armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will put our agile, reliable, and innovative approach into action while working with a caring team that values people first and always acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting order at the location.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and noteworthy conditions, and support follow-up actions related to security-related concerns and/or public interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
