Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in alignment with site post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and restricted locations, report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and document incidents according to post procedures.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, addressing policy-related concerns when appropriate, and assisting with de-escalation during confrontational situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
