What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail and entertainment location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, entrances, common areas, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, helping to deter disruptive behavior through professional presence and verbal de-escalation.
- Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and/or daily activity reports, and follow Allied Universal and site firearms handling, storage, and use-of-force guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
