As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns across the assigned location. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and support a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and coordinate with site leadership and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 3 years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
