We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to provide administrative support to the IT Department by resolving technical issues at Corporate office and various branch locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting software and hardware issues and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via help desk ticketing system
- Manage computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with desktop support tasks such as hardware upgrades, software installations, and system imaging
- Collaborate with team members to analyze issues using analysis skills and implement effective solutions promptly through different means, including phone, email and in-person
- Document technical procedures and solutions accurately for future reference
- Ensure compliance with security policies by supporting firewall configurations and network security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in IT support or help desk roles with strong troubleshooting skills in software troubleshooting and computer management
- Associate’s degree (AA) from a post-secondary institution or one to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco certifications are a plus
