About the Position
We believe buying a home should be a celebration, and we are looking for a full-time rockstar Closer who can help make every transaction a memorable one. The Closer will be responsible for conducting residential real estate closings at our Colorado office. This position may also occasionally require travel to nearby locations to accommodate remote or mobile settlements.
In addition to conducting closings, the Closer will review documents before and after settlement to ensure they are accurate, complete, and properly executed. This individual will work closely with our processors, post-closing team, escrow officers, and attorneys to deliver a smooth and professional experience for every client. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player, a diligent problem-solver, and a natural relationship-builder who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional and engaging residential real estate closings
- Clearly explain closing documents and answer client questions
- Review closing packages for accuracy and completeness before settlement
- Confirm that all documents are properly signed, notarized, and executed
- Review completed closing packages before submitting them for post-closing
- Coordinate closely with processors, escrow officers, post-closers, attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals
- Identify and resolve closing-related issues quickly, thoroughly, and fairly
- Occasionally travel to nearby locations to conduct mobile or remote closings
- Provide every client with a positive and memorable closing experience
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of title, escrow, or real estate settlement closing experience
- Active Virginia Notary Public commission
- Strong understanding of residential real estate closing documents and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain complex documents clearly and professionally
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to resolve issues quickly, thoroughly, and equitably
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and pleasant to work with
- Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Title Agent or Escrow Officer
- Experience using Qualia
- Bilingual in Spanish, French, or American Sign Language
- Bachelor’s degree
