ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for this direct hire Project Architect position in Pensacola, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated architect to lead impactful projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-quality architectural design from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary design teams and ensure project goals and design intent are met.
- Direct the development of construction documents using Revit.
- Review and prepare project deliverables, ensuring high-quality work that complies with codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Mentor and support junior architectural staff, providing technical guidance, oversight, and development.
- Conduct site visits, perform field measurements, and oversee construction observation activities.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawing reviews during construction.
- Participate in permitting, consultant coordination, and preparation of project manuals and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- 8 years of professional architectural experience, including demonstrated project management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Registered Architect in Florida — or eligibility for Florida licensure.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Local to the Pensacola, FL area or willing to relocate.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel for site visits as needed.
Salary : $38 - $52
