Job Summary
We are an aerospace parts manufacturer in Mishawaka, Indiana, seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect machined steel components and assemblies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong blueprint reading skills, experience using precision measuring tools, and familiarity with CMM and KEYENCE systems. We will also consider a machinist who wants to transition into the quality field.
Responsibilities:
· Perform in-process and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies.
· Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, height stands, and other inspection tools.
· Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
· Support inspection using CMM equipment and KEYENCE vision systems.
· Record inspection results and communicate issues clearly.
· Work with production and quality teams to maintain product standards.
Qualifications:
· Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.
· Advanced ability with precision measuring instruments.
· Experience in aerospace, machining, or precision manufacturing preferred.
· Familiarity with CMM operation and KEYENCE vision systems preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and documentation ability.
· Machinists interested in transitioning into quality are encouraged to apply; training may be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
