What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Mitigation Field Sales Project Manager/Technician (SALES) position at Allied Restoration Services?
Earn Trust. Close the Job. Change Lives.
We don't just dry buildings — we help people recover from some of the worst days of their lives. When a homeowner is standing in two inches of water or staring at fire and smoke damage, they're scared, overwhelmed, and looking for someone to take control. That someone is you.
We're looking for an experienced field sales closer who knows the restoration world — or comes from home services, roofing, or home improvement — and can walk into a damaged home, quickly understand the scope, build instant trust, and confidently guide the homeowner to say yes. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role and it's not for order-takers. This is for a real closer who knows how to control a conversation, handle objections, and ask for the business.
If you're the type who turns "let me think about it" into a signed agreement before you leave the driveway — we want to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Respond to water, fire, and mold loss leads at residential and commercial properties — including high-end and luxury homes
- Assess and scope damage on-site, then build clear, professional estimates
- Educate homeowners on the restoration process and earn their trust fast
- Sell value and certainty — close the work at the kitchen table, not "maybe" your way out the door
- Handle objections and price concerns with confidence (more homeowners are paying out of pocket — you'll know how to justify the investment)
- Follow up relentlessly on pending decisions and insurance approvals
- Own the customer relationship and hand the project cleanly to the production team
- Consistently hit and exceed monthly close-rate and revenue targets
Who You Are
- 2 years of in-home or field sales experience with a proven track record of closing — restoration experience strongly preferred
- You ask for the business and don't fold when the homeowner hesitates
- You sell on value and trust, not the lowest price
- You understand (or can quickly learn) the technical side of water/fire/mold restoration; Xactimate experience is a big plus
- You're self-driven, coachable, and hold yourself to a high standard
- You communicate with urgency and professionalism in high-stress situations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (this is a field role)
