Duties
- Supervise daily restoration operations, including fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and cleaning projects
- Coordinate project timelines, resources, and team assignments to ensure timely completion of restoration jobs
- Inspect work sites regularly to ensure quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment effectively to perform or oversee repair tasks
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and subcontractors to keep everyone informed of project progress and expectations
- Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, including work performed, materials used, and safety compliance reports
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials such as asbestos or mold according to regulatory guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a strong understanding of fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, and asbestos and lead abatement
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for various construction and repair tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to carpet cleaning and general property sanitation
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project documentation
- Physical ability to perform manual labor involving lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
