**About the Role:**
">We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Allied Reliability. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering services and support to promote safe, efficient, and reliable production runs.
">- Assist in the conceptualization, development, and execution of capital projects;
- Develop detailed scopes of work, budgets, and schedules;
- Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) requests;
- Conduct engineering reviews of project plans, drawings, materials, and installations;
- Solicit contractors, vendors, and consultants;
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for consulting engineers, contractors, suppliers, and external agencies;
- Travel to all US manufacturing facilities to provide technical support, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, equipment assessments, and sharing best practices and corporate standards;
- Study and understand process flows, and equipment functionality;
- Handle a wide range of verbal, written, and presentation communications, including progress report writing and presentations on project status;
- Understand and apply applicable external codes and standards and regulations;
Requirements:
- Completion of a Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution is required;
- Excellent skills in all forms of communication;
- The ability to read Civil, Structural, and Mechanical Drawings is required;
- Proven interpersonal and leadership/supervisory skills, including planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring of work activities to achieve project objectives;
- Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Power BI are required;
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with all levels of the organization;
