This role serves as the primary internal point of contact for quoting, order processing, and customer coordination for Jamison’s portfolio of filtration and pipeline products.
The position works closely with Outside Sales, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to ensure accurate proposals, reliable lead times, smooth order execution, and a best-in-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales & Quoting Support
- Respond to inbound RFQs and customer inquiries.
- Clarify customer requirements, applications, and specifications to develop accurate quotations.
- Prepare detailed quotes including pricing, lead times, freight assumptions, and commercial terms within approved guidelines.
- Coordinate technical inputs (materials, pressure ratings, connection types, codes, drawings, and specifications) with engineering or manufacturing partners.
- Convert approved quotes into sales orders, ensuring alignment with customer POs.
- Verify ship-to details, taxes, documentation requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers and internal teams.
- Interface with suppliers and internal operations to ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment.
- Support Outside Sales and Sales Management with pipeline activity, follow-ups, and customer communications.
- Assist in managing pricing files, discount structures, and product data in alignment with Jamison commercial policies (referenced in internal Jamison sales communications).
- Maintain accurate CRM and order records to support forecasting and commercial reporting.
- Serve as a dependable point of contact for customers throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
- Resolve order issues, pricing discrepancies, and documentation questions efficiently.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability of Jamison’s inside sales and operations workflows.
- Filtration systems (bag filters, cartridge filters, strainers, separators)
- Pipeline equipment (pig launchers & receivers, closures, flow-related accessories)
- Custom or engineered filtration solutions for industrial applications
- 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, order management, or technical sales support (industrial equipment or engineered products preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders and quotations simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of industrial filtration, pipeline equipment, or related mechanical products is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, quoting tools, and ERP/order entry platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
