Field Service Technician – Packaging Equipment
(CST & EST Candidates Only)
$30–$37/hr | Contract-to-Hire

A global leader in industrial packaging and processing equipment is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support customers throughout the Eastern U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical and controls troubleshooting experience who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and hands-on technical work.
This role focuses on installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing industrial packaging equipment at customer sites throughout the East Coast region.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and commission packaging equipment at customer locations
- Perform electrical and controls troubleshooting on automated machinery
- Work with Allen Bradley PLC systems, including Studio 5000 and PanelView
- Support equipment startups and customer training
- Read electrical schematics and diagnose motors, VFDs, sensors, and controls systems
- Travel throughout the Eastern U.S. to support customers onsite
Qualifications
- Experience working on packaging equipment such as:
- Valve baggers
- FFS (Form-Fill-Seal)
- VFFS (Vertical Form-Fill-Seal)
- Hands-on Allen Bradley Studio 5000 experience required
- Strong field service background supporting equipment at customer sites
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Comfortable with 90% travel
- Must reside within CST or EST time zones
- Stable work history preferred
