Allied Reliability is seeking a Customer Service Representative for Chemical Plant Operations.

- Work directly with customers to arrange their shipment needs
- Track and trace shipments, as required
- Track and maintain inventory levels, coordinate logistics for shipments, and ensure products reach customers as scheduled
- Facilitate transportation of products to customers, including scheduling carriers and ensuring vendor compliance with company objectives
- Processing customer orders and ensuring timely shipment to meet contract deadlines
- Develop and maintain customer data files to prepare and ship orders correctly and expediently
- Document and update customer records based on client interactions
- Maintain relationships with carriers, agents and internal / external customers, providing exceptional customer service and attending to any client issues with the sales executive
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, communicating proactively about project status, and handling customer service via various channels like phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints and problems with products or services
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency, collaborating with the sales team
- Collaborate with sales personnel to ensure accurate information regarding customer accounts and quotes
- Collaborate with logistics and productions to ensure accurate information regarding product availability and production schedules
- Prepare project activities and special reports as requested by management
- Assist marketing personnel in resolving problem accounts regarding product availability, credit, and customer service
- Inform management regarding any discrepancies in products
- Conduct activities in adherence to the company's Safety and Quality Management Systems
- Knowledgeable in ERP systems
- General knowledge about Distribution, Shipping and Receiving
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in word, excel, and ERP - business management softwares such as SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Epicor, Infor, Biztrack, Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Preferred, 2 years experience in international freight transport and logistics (preferred Forwarder) and automotive client operations
- Experience in export and import operations management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with international traffic/ commerce
