What You’ll Do
- Operate high-quality digital printing presses to meet customer specifications.
- Monitor print runs to ensure consistent color, registration, and image quality.
- Interpret layouts, check paper stock, and assist in overall press setup (sheet size, coating, blankets, etc.).
- Refill and adjust paper trays to maintain efficient production flow.
- Load substrates onto the press and accurately record production data.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning on press equipment.
- Troubleshoot and adjust as needed to ensure top-quality output.
- Conduct quality checks throughout each run and present finished samples for approval.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of press operation.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of color and excellent visual acuity.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Team-player attitude and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1–4 months of experience operating digital press machines.
