Now, we’re looking for skilled Cutter Operators to join our growing team.

Position: Baler Operator

Join our fast-paced Bindery team and play a key role in keeping production moving smoothly. As a Baler Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating baler equipment to collect, compact, and process paper waste generated during production. This hands-on, active role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment while supporting overall bindery workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Operate baler equipment to collect and compress scrap paper and materials generated during bindery operations
• Tie, stack, label, and prepare bales for removal or recycling
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning; perform routine cleaning and minor adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of bale counts, weights, and material types
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Assist with general material handling as needed, including waste collection, pallet organization, and movement of materials to appropriate zones
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow continuity
  
  

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment (printing experience a plus)
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow standard procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a team-focused work culture
  
  

Physical Requirements

Walking 20% | Standing 80%. Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying materials 50 lbs. and more.

Shifts Available: 1st shift (8:00am- 4:00pm)
