Position: Baler Operator
Join our fast-paced Bindery team and play a key role in keeping production moving smoothly. As a Baler Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating baler equipment to collect, compact, and process paper waste generated during production. This hands-on, active role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment while supporting overall bindery workflow.

What You’ll Do
- Operate baler equipment to collect and compress scrap paper and materials generated during bindery operations
- Tie, stack, label, and prepare bales for removal or recycling
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning; perform routine cleaning and minor adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of bale counts, weights, and material types
- Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Assist with general material handling as needed, including waste collection, pallet organization, and movement of materials to appropriate zones
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow continuity
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment (printing experience a plus)
- Ability to operate machinery safely and follow standard procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a team-focused work culture
