Duties

• Perform inventory management tasks including stock counting, inventory control, and updating records using warehouse management systems such as RF scanners.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively, including reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments accurately using order picker tools and packaging techniques.
• Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting transactions.
• Support warehouse distribution efforts through stock replenishment, materials handling, and maintaining organized storage areas for efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards by following safety protocols during heavy lifting, mechanical operations, and general warehouse activities.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and construction or manufacturing-related tasks when necessary.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and experience with warehouse management and RF Scanners
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers with safety certification.
• Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment and warehouse machinery.
• Experience in shipping & receiving processes, order picking & packing, and stock control techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
