We are seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team and help deliver exceptional plumbing solutions for a variety of commercial and industrial construction projects. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems in commercial buildings or during field service calls.
- Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC specialists, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless project execution.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to construction plumbing, welding, heavy lifting, and site-specific protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Ability to accurately layout underground piping systems with plumbing stub-ups located within the walls.
- Knowledge of hydronic HVAC systems, welding processes, and general mechanical principles is highly desirable.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights or confined spaces on construction sites.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required to operate a company vehicle.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout.
- Prior experience with construction site safety standards and protocols is essential.
- Cross connection certification and experience installing, repairing and certifying backflow preventing devices
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
