Quality Manager

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related discipline or equivalent experience
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or similar certification
• Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing
• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in quality control or engineering
• Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (Control Plans, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP)
• Experience with color testing equipment (Macbeth or equivalent)
• Proven ability to implement data-driven quality systems and problem-solving methodologies
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills

• Experience conducting supplier audits and site visits
• Certification or approval for color and appearance testing
• Proficiency with internal business systems such as ERP, customer scorecards, and product databases
• Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols in manufacturing settings
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Advanced certifications like CQE or equivalent
• Over 5 years in a manufacturing quality role, with leadership experience in automotive environments
  
  

Other Requirements

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
• Capable of extended computer work and navigating production areas
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, with a valid driver’s license
