Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks
- Assist with product design and mechanical assemblies
- Prepare manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation
- Support prototype builds and testing
- Work with machine shops and manufacturing partners
- Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
- Help troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues
- Learn practical engineering methods used in real-world product development
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or graduating within the next few months)
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to ask questions and learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience with machining or fabrication
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience creating engineering drawings
- 3D printing or prototype experience
- Internship or Formula SAE, Baja, robotics, or similar engineering project experience
