Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Loan Officer. The Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with identifying suitable loan options, managing loan applications, and processing loan documentation. Day-to-day activities include initiating and maintaining client relationships, analyzing financial eligibility, overseeing underwriting, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth loan origination process. Providing excellent customer service and adhering to regulatory standards are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Loan Origination and expertise in Underwriting
- In-depth knowledge of Finance and the residential mortgage industry
- Strong Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Relevant professional experience as a Loan Officer
- Strong understanding of state and federal mortgage regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with loan processing software and financial tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- NMLS Certification or equivalent licensure is required
