Licensed Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Allied Mechanical Services a Smart Care Company is looking for a Licensed Commercial Refrigeration Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Service commercial/supermarket refrigeration equipment and systems to include walk-in coolers, freezers, small self-contained equipment, reach-ins, Rack Units, etc.
• Experience servicing medium and low-temperature refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed and or assigned for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of Refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal supervision.
• Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques.
• Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with refrigerants.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Willingness to support other geographic service areas is a plus.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration: 3 years
• Experience working on Rack Refrigeration: 3 years.
• Independent ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems.
• Technical training through apprenticeship, RSES, trade school, or equivalent work experience
• Valid Driver's License/ Clean Driving Record
• EPA Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with 507,404A,448, 449, CO2 refrigerants.

• Experience servicing/installing rack systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
