LOCATION: Fully remote
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Programming Supervisor
ROLE: Entry level position to write code for existing plans. Be able to support and maintain existing applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with AMEC associates to determine application requirements.
- Identify and document proposed application functionality and specifications for review.
- Code new applications.
- Document final product in detail.
- Develop and deliver user training for new AMEC applications.
- Maintain current AMEC applications by providing usage and defect support.
- Modify existing AMEC applications as necessary.
- Provide support for AMEC custom applications.
- Other tasks as deemed appropriate by Manager.
Education:
- Two year degree in Computer Science, preferred.
Experience:
- Two years in a similar role, preferred.
Skills:
- Familiarity with Windows and/or System i environments, required.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages; required
- Visual Basic, HTML, SQL, MS Access, ASP.NET, MVC, Java, C#, or RPG.
