Allied Interior Solutions/Square Cabinetry is one of the first companies to supply turnkey countertops for multi-family units throughout the US. Our team members have over 90 years of combined experience in the cabinet and countertop industries. We use this knowledge to make a difference in every project we complete. 

We have a specialized group of dedicated employees who put attention to detail and high quality first in everything they do. Whether it is a fabrication position or an office support position, everyone here does their part to make things run well. 

We are currently seeking an  Estimator  for our  DeSoto, TX  facility.  The estimator is responsible for creating a cost quote for the cabinet and miscellaneous parts needed to complete individual units/ whole projects and pricing the correct quantities according to the AIS standard catalog.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Review architectural plans, bid documents, and specifications to determine project scope
• Perform detailed takeoffs for:
• Cabinets (kitchen, bath, custom millwork)
• Countertops (stone, quartz, solid surface)
• Accessories, hardware, and specialty items
• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and proposals within deadlines
• Identify missing or unclear information and communicate with Sales for clarification
• Maintain and update estimating logs, pricing databases, and Smartsheet tracking tools
• Reading and understanding plan sets,RFIs, and ASI to properly adjust pricing when needed.
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mustbe 18 years of age
• High school diploma/GED equivalent is preferred
• 2 years of estimating experience (cabinetry, millwork, or stone preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience working with bid deadlines and high-volume workload
• Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills, highly motivated, *team player*
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
