Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oakland, CA, for an Inside Sales Technician. The Inside Sales Technician will be responsible for assisting existing and prospective customers with product inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts. Key duties include processing orders, generating quotes, providing technical product information, and supporting the external sales team. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to address customer needs and contributing to training efforts to improve customer understanding of the company’s product offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to address customer needs effectively and ensure positive experiences.
- Proficiency in Sales, including generating quotes, processing orders, and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Demonstrated ability in training and educating clients on product use and capabilities.
- Negotiation skills for discussing terms, pricing, and closing sales effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with industrial or fluid handling products is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and NetSuite CRM software is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
