Allied Electric Sign & Awning is hiring sign installers! We have both Apprentice and Journeymen Installer positions available. Your experience with construction, electrical work, and vinyl application will prepare you to thrive in either of these positions. As a sign installer, your work will not only be appreciated, it will make all the difference for every project!

Responsibilities
- Work at varying heights
- Work in year-round weather conditions
- Perform finish concrete work for sign footings
- Hook up electric signs to power sources
- Use mechanical and hand tools for sign installation
- Gather all required materials prior to leaving for the jobsite
- Safely transport all signs and materials to each jobsite
- Safely operate and drive boom trucks at varying locations
- Install various sign types, including illuminated and nonilluminated signs, vinyl, monument signs, etc.
Education, Licenses, and Experience
- Welding (Preferred)
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a DOT medical card (Required)
- Valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record and no restrictions (Required)
- Possess a CDL (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 2-4 years of sign or construction experience (Preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to read and interpret various documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and related documentation (Required)
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to use tools, power equipment, and digging equipment (Required)
- Demonstrated ability to work in year-round weather conditions (Required)
