What You'll Work On

Our mechanics maintain and repair a diverse fleet of heavy construction and drilling equipment, including:

  • Rotary drill rigs
  • Excavators
  • Skid steers
  • Telehandlers
  • Heavy-duty diesel trucks
  • Air compressors
  • Generators
  • Cranes
  • Hydraulic support equipment
  • Commercial fleet vehicles
  • Trailers and support equipment

Every day brings a different challenge—not repetitive oil changes or light maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine failures
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic software and OEM service information
  • Repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrain components, cooling systems, braking systems, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, and control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Read wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and service manuals
  • Complete work orders accurately using computerized maintenance systems
  • Perform field repairs when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work closely with the shop team to minimize equipment downtime

What We're Looking ForRequired Experience

  • 5 years as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy equipment
  • Strong experience diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical failures
  • Experience repairing construction, drilling, mining, or heavy industrial equipment
  • Ability to independently diagnose difficult equipment problems
  • Own basic mechanic tools
  • Valid driver's license

  • Detroit Diesel
  • Allison
  • Eaton
  • Sullair
  • Ingersoll Rand

Fabrication and welding experience is a plus.

CDL is a plus but not required.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 75 pounds
  • Frequently bend, kneel, climb, squat, crawl, and reach overhead
  • Stand and walk throughout the workday
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Safely operate shop equipment and power tools
