Overview

Duties
- Operate tractor trailer and other vehicles for the purpose of delivering goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, providing familiarity with loading and unloading procedures.
- Valid commercial driving license with experience operating box trucks preferred.
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles when necessary.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics planning is beneficial.
