What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Grain Laborer position at Allied Cooperative?
Primary Objectives of Position:
- Work with the location manager to operate and maintain equipment
- Perform all tasks with outstanding customer service
- Follow all federal, state, and OSHA, cooperative policies and procedures
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Operate grain plant equipment and system in accordance to standard operating procedures and current good manufacturing practices
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist other divisions with tasks as needed
- Perform routine housekeeping
- Comply with all company policies
- Comply with all local, state and federal laws and regulations
- Load and unload grain trucks
- Scale trucks in and out
- Operate grain dryer efficiently
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds, bend, stand for long periods of time, and have good finger dexterity
