What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feed Mill Attendant position at Allied Cooperative?
Primary Objectives of Position:
- Manufacture and inspect feed and related products efficiently
- Help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals
- Perform all tasks with outstanding customer service
- Follow all federal, state, OSHA, FSMA, and cooperative policies and procedures
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Assist with local mix schedule and prepare mixes to specifications
- Load customer purchases on site
- Maintain equipment on a regular schedule
- Ensure sales tickets are made out prior to loading and delivery
- Work with customers to resolve problems or concerns
- Assist in all preventative maintenance and housekeeping
- Collect feed samples in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more on a regular basis
- Able to operative forklift and other warehouse machinery
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and have good leg and finger dexterity
