Primary Objectives of Position:
Support the cooperative’s mission by providing exceptional customer service, promoting products and maintaining a clean and efficient store environment. Contribute to a positive team culture while meeting sales and operational goals.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Support the manager in meeting monthly sales targets.
- Promote, sell and distribute store products to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain product inventory, including receiving and stocking deliveries and supplies.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service including addressing concerns.
- Ensure the store, equipment and facilities are clean, safe and properly maintained.
- Prepare food items consistently according to portion, quality and presentation standards.
- Follow all cooperative, state and federal policies and procedures.
- Attend required safety and food handling training.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines as required by cooperative, state and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic cash handling skills and the ability to operate a register.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Be comfortable receiving and implementing feedback
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods and performing tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing and handling materials.
- Good finger and wrist dexterity for food prep and register operation.
