What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Attendant position at Allied Caregivers?
What You'll Do
As a Personal Care Attendant, you'll provide personalized in-home assistance based on each client's unique needs. Daily responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Preparing meals and helping with light household tasks to maintain a safe, organized living space.
- Providing companionship and social interaction while monitoring clients' overall well-being.
- Running occasional errands when needed.
- Recording care provided and client updates through our easy-to-use mobile documentation system.
- Working closely with both clients and the Allied Caregivers office to ensure quality, consistent care.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care assistance.
- Current Blood TB test and physical examination.
- Valid driver's license with dependable transportation.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following experience is a plus:
- Previous experience providing in-home care or personal caregiving services.
- Current LNA or RN credential.
- Experience using mobile devices or apps to complete care documentation.
Schedule
- Part-time & Per-diem position.
- Flexible scheduling available seven days a week, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you.
