Entry-Level HVAC Installer
Position Summary
Allied Aire, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Cornelius, NC. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the heating and air conditioning industry. You will assist lead installers with the installation of residential HVAC systems while learning the trade through hands-on training.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and air handlers
- Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC equipment
- Carry and move tools, materials, and equipment safely
- Loading, unloading and stocking of materials
- Assist with installation of ductwork, thermostats, and related components
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Learn HVAC installation procedures and best practices
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to process both written and verbal English language skills
- No HVAC experience required - training provided
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, insurable by co. insurance carrier
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required)
- Trade school or HVAC school experience
- Basic hand tool and ladder knowledge
- EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
