What You Do
The Manager of Information Security IAM will manage a team of information security professionals within the Information Security Risk Management division of Allianz Life. This leader will oversee delivery of IAM services from our security service provider, collaborate with IT, IS, and business partners to ensure that global and local IAM and PAM controls are implemented, control assurances are available, IAM and PAM risks are identified, and the proper risk treatment is applied. Frequent reporting and interaction with senior leaders are expected.
The successful leader will also take on ownership of Allianz Life’s local IAM tool, SailPoint, manage the work requests/backlog for the tool, oversee delivery of SailPoint project work, and collaborate with other Allianz Operating Entities and Allianz Group to drive continuous improvement in IAM practices.

Job posting range $114,500 - $147,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

- Identify and assess information security related risks to understand how they impact effectiveness or efficiency of the Information Security Program
- Build and adjust risk framework elements and integrate them into the enterprise risk management program and framework
- Work closely with technology, security and business leaders to mitigate risk, identify potential areas where existing information security processes and procedures require change
- Consult with IT groups, business units and other risk management areas to ensure program components meet business needs
- Establish and maintain program effectiveness measures
- Maintain knowledge of changing technologies and provide recommendations for adaptation of new technologies or policies
- Consult on complex issues related to information security, risk management or technology
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 6 years of experience in information security, information technology, risk and/or controls management, or other relevant discipline
- Experience working with IAM and/or PAM tools and working knowledge of IAM industry best practices
- Proven ability to effectively lead a team and demonstrate continuous improvement in processes and delivery
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
