Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support production operations by maintaining the flow of verified orders to designated locations on the Production Floor. This role plays a key part in keeping operations organized, efficient, and safe.
Essential Job Functions
- Inspect product quantities and colors to verify order accuracy
- Move orders from wooden pallets to plastic pallets when entering production areas
- Transport verified pallets directly to shipping when required
- Identify and deliver orders to the correct departments on the Production Floor
- Read and understand pull tickets (orders)
- Coordinate with Warehouse Managers, Clerks, and Forklift Drivers as needed
- Maintain steady pallet flow to the production floor
- Use scanner devices to systematically place orders in correct locations
- Follow all company safety requirements at all times
Requirements
- Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures (heat and cold)
- Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs repetitively
- High School Diploma preferred
- Experience using a pallet jack
Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands
- Frequent bending and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
