PTC Alliance has a vacancy for a self-motivated, action oriented, and experienced Customer Service Representative in Alliance, OH. The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in engaging and building strong relationships with our customers.

What you will do as a Customer Service Representative

• Provide accurate and timely pricing and product support to customers and outside sales personnel. This would include lead times, pricing, confirmation of purchase orders, manufacturing status developments, changes, etc.
• Log quote wins and losses documenting relevant feedback regarding pricing, competitive market information, or other factors.
• Assist outside sales personnel in reviewing and quoting new and renewal business.
• Keep outside sales representatives informed on progress developments, regarding sales opportunities and proposals.
• Initiate follow-up calls on pertinent inquiries or developments.
• Work with appropriate staff for proposals and RFQ’s.
• Assist customers with claim and invoicing issues.
• Continually learn – both taught on the job and self-led to build expertise in the field.
• Facilitate sales team and customer meetings, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.

Expectations for This Role Include

• High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary preferred.

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written.

• Ability to work with all levels of employees, customers, clients, etc.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task.

• Ability to creatively and proactively problem-solve.

• Professional and dependable.

• Must be adaptable and able to understand varying customer needs

• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle a plus but not required.
