What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Office Assistant position at ALLIANCE TAX?
Alliance Tax is seeking a motivated individual, to fill our Tax Office Assistant. As a T.O.A, you will be responsible for conducting interviews with potential clients, using our computer software while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties Include:
- Answering calls, greeting visitors, helping them navigate through an office.
- Appointment setting, sort mail, make copies, and ordering office supplies.
- Begin the tax return by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
- Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
- Client retention, generating new business, and offering additional products and services.
- Providing ongoing customer support.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful completion of Introduction to Taxation Skills Assessment.
- Must complete 18-hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a customer service environment
- Sales and/or marketing experience
