Responsibilities:

• Lay and bind brick, block, and other masonry units with precision and skill, constructing or repairing walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, and other structural elements.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions to determine project requirements and execute tasks efficiently.
• Prepare mortar and grout mixtures according to specifications, ensuring proper consistency and adhesion.
• Cut, shape, and fit bricks and other masonry units to achieve desired patterns and structural integrity.
• Meticulously inspect completed work to ensure compliance with building codes, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Brick Mason, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of masonry techniques and applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of masonry materials, tools, and equipment, including proper handling, safety, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret Scope of Work, drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on achieving precise and aesthetically pleasing results.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and conditions.
• Excellent physical condition, capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials, working at heights, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites throughout the Kansas City area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
