ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a growing construction subcontractor supporting projects across oil & gas, transportation, government, and commercial infrastructure.
Our client is looking to add a full-time Labor Compliance Specialist/Accountant to help in earning revenue on their government contracts. Open to training someone with limited experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete Labor Compliance Documents for Prevailing Wage projects
- Submission of weekly Certified Payroll reports on LCP tracker, DIR
- Provide supporting records (statements of compliance, fringe benefit statements, payroll deductions, apprentice registration, etc.) to general contractors.
- Gather, review and input employee pay and project hours data.
- Interact via verbal and/or correspondence with general contractors to satisfy labor compliance requirements.
- Maintain all Labor Compliance and Certified Payroll documents throughout the project in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond / Resolve discrepancies related to submission audits from LCP Tracker, DIR, etc
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1- 3 years of experience in compliance/ payroll/ accounting
- Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, mainly Excel.
- Construction experience a plus
