Alliance Resource Group is partnering with the owner’s Family Office of a reputable, real estate company to identify a talented and experienced Family Office Accountant. This is a unique and recession-proof opportunity to join an extremely stable and long-established organization, providing high-level accounting support across a diverse range of personal and investment entities.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day and monthly accounting responsibilities, financial reporting, and budgeting for the owner’s personal and family financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, and a commitment to discretion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly accounting functions for personal and investment entities
- Complete bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes
- Maintain accounting records for investments, personal assets, and real estate holdings
- Monitor cash flow and prepare funding requests as needed
- Oversee accounts payable process, including invoice approvals and credit card reconciliations
- Track owner contributions, distributions, and investment balances
- Prepare monthly financial packages including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Support annual budgeting and tax preparation processes
- Assist with reporting obligations to third parties including lenders
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners such as CPAs, banks, legal counsel, and vendors
- Take on special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience REQUIRED.
- Experience in outsourced accounting at a CPA firm and/or Family Office experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Proficient with Excel; experience with Yardi a plus
- High degree of integrity and discretion with confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities with a sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
