We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join our dedicated finance team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Controller will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and leading key accounting initiatives. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to make a significant impact within a stable and growth-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller in overseeing all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Support budget and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with the ERP team to optimize financial system performance.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all internal controls.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Medium to large company experience, specifically with organizations boasting revenues above $150 million.
- Demonstrated managerial and supervisory experience in an accounting or finance department.
- Strong practical experience with integrated ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Education/Certifications:
- Desired qualifications include an MBA or a CPA certification.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
- Location:
- Must be a current resident of Orange County, California, or willing to relocate prior to starting employment.
Salary : $130,000 - $155,000
