Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support and strengthen our accounting operations during this high-growth period. This role will be a key partner to the Controller and finance leadership team, with exposure to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in general accounting, along with cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with deep general accounting expertise within manufacturing will also be strongly considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Assist in developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, including inventory valuation and standard costing
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal financial policies
- Partner with operations to analyze cost drivers, variances, and margin performance
- Strengthen internal controls and support audit readiness (external and internal)
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements to support scalability
- Play a key role in preparing for IPO readiness, including financial reporting and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong background in general accounting required
- Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Experience working in a private equity–backed or high-growth company is a plus
- Solid understanding of inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Salary : $135,000 - $150,000
