Position Summary
The Substance Use Disorder Professional / Trainee (SUDP/T) will conduct case management duties for each patient on his or her caseload, under the guidance of their designated supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct chemical dependency assessments and intakes, documenting both DSM-5 and ASAM PPC-2 criteria.
- Use ASAM PPC-2 for continuing care reviews and discharge planning.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions under training and supervision from their designated supervisor.
- Collaborate with supervisor on a plan of action to meet the requirements outlined in WAC 246-811-047.
Case Management Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Charting and documentation
- Treatment planning & treatment plan revisions
- Monthly status reports
- Correspondence with referral sources and partner agencies
- Online file maintenance including:
- Reviewing and updating reporting agents
- Managing consent forms
- Reviewing patient demographic pages
- Documenting dates of service using Activity 2 reports
- Consulting with other clinical staff regarding patient care
- Coordinating with Admin/PC staff to:
- Schedule clients
- Set up phase graduation/discharge review
- Update treatment financials
- Enter and monitor dates of service
Knowledge, Education, & Experience
- Must have an active SUDP or SUDPT credential—with no enforcements
- No experience required; training provided
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Dual MH/SUD credential is a plus—ARC can provide LMHCA/LICSWA supervision hours
- Interest in or knowledge of TMS treatment for depression preferred
- Must have no prohibition from contracting with governmental agencies
