Position Overview
The HR Project Management Specialist (HRPM) leads and manages the delivery of key HR projects within our organization. This includes the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The HRPM will also aim to optimize HR processes and ensure that HR activities are effective, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s goals. The HR PM’s expertise in HR processes, procedures, and best practices will be crucial in driving initiatives that enhance our HR effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. Develop comprehensive project plans and communication documents.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment and progress.
- Resource Management: Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Proactively address changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.
- Performance Tracking: Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations. Enforce project standards and conduct post-mortem analyses to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Team Leadership: Lead project teams of various sizes, providing guidance and feedback. Conduct regular team meetings and foster a collaborative environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements. Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated functional expertise in the HR function.
- Experience in Process Workflow and Stand Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues and risks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
