What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Production Manager – Drive Teams, Deliver Excellence position at Alliance Painting?
About Us
At Alliance Painting, we’re on a mission to redefine what homeowners expect from a painting company.
We believe good enough is never enough. Our team delivers uncompromising quality, professional communication, and true peace of mind on every project.
We’ve grown from a small, local operation to one of the DFW area’s leading residential painting companies, and we’re just getting started. As we continue our 4x growth trajectory, we’re looking for a Paint Production Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems, and takes ownership of results.
About the Role
The Paint Production Manager oversees 6–10 residential painting projects per week — managing schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring flawless execution from prep to final walkthrough.
You’ll be the driving force that keeps operations running smoothly — ensuring every project is completed on time, on budget, and up to our premium quality standards.
This isn’t a desk job — it’s a field leadership role for someone who enjoys structure, accountability, and visible results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production schedules and crew assignments across multiple ongoing projects.
- Ensure all prep, painting, and cleanup work meets Alliance Painting’s Peace of Mind Paint Plan standards.
- Maintain clear communication with homeowners and project consultants throughout the job lifecycle.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure they meet timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
- Conduct pre-job walkthroughs, in-progress inspections, and final quality checks.
- Track project progress, materials, and budgets within our CRM and scheduling tools.
- Resolve field challenges quickly and effectively, maintaining a calm, professional approach.
- Drive accountability — every project, every crew, every result.
You’re a Great Fit If You
- Love fast-moving days managing multiple projects at once.
- Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and great at prioritizing.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with both homeowners and crews.
- Take pride in delivering excellence, not excuses.
- Thrive under pressure and solve problems with a proactive mindset.
- Enjoy building and leading strong, reliable subcontractor relationships.
- Want to grow with a company that values ownership, teamwork, and pursuit of excellence.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in residential painting, construction, or home services project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects or crews simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of painting processes, materials, and surface prep.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Tech-savvy with scheduling or CRM software (we’ll train you on ours).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
Why Join Alliance Painting
- Fast-growing, values-driven company built on teamwork, excellence, and ownership.
- Strong leadership team and supportive culture — not corporate bureaucracy.
- Competitive base pay performance-based bonuses.
- Room for advancement as the company continues to expand.
- A chance to make a real impact — every week, you’ll see the results of your work in beautiful homes and satisfied clients.
Our Core Values
- Teamwork – We rise together.
- Pursuit of Excellence – Good enough is never enough.
- Growth Oriented – We’re always improving.
- Ownership – We own the outcome, not just the effort.
