Alliance of Therapy Dogs is a nonprofit organization that certifies and registers volunteer therapy dog teams nationwide. We have roughly 20,000 volunteer Members. The home Office that handles all the paperwork, calls, emails, merchandise and volunteer requests is located in Cheyenne, WY.
Job Responsibilities:
Work Includes:
- Member services (customer service)
- Answering calls
- Returning voicemails
- Responding to emails
- Record keeping
- Note and memo taking
- Processing and shipping merchandise orders
- Sorting mail
- Processing and reviewing paperwork
- Print and mailing Items
- Various job duties as needed
We are a fast-paced Office, so days go quickly. Six paid holidays and PTO after a 90-day probationary period. PTO and wages grow with longevity. Opportunity for overtime during specific periods of higher volume outreach of our volunteer Members mostly during the months of June/July and December/January.
Qualifications:
Preferred 2 years’ customer service experience. Strong communication skills. Comfortable working with computers and a variety of programs. Sitting for a long period of time. Able to work under pressure. Responsible and Reliable.
