The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SharePoint farm administration, integration with Active Directory, and a strong understanding of public sector governance and compliance.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SharePoint 2016 farms, web applications, site collections, and service applications.
- Perform system updates, patching, backups/restores, and performance tuning.
- Manage permissions, access controls, and security configurations.
- Develop and support workflows, forms, and automation using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and PowerShell.
- Integrate SharePoint with Active Directory, endpoint management, and other state systems.
- Ensure compliance with state IT policies, records retention schedules, and security standards.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and training to users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365 teams within this department.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint 2016 (on-premises).
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, service applications, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
- Experience with identity management systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, endpoint management, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Understanding of public sector IT governance, including NIST and state security policies.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in a government or regulated environment.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with records management and eDiscovery practices.
