What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse - Contract LPN position at Alliance Nursing Inc.?
2-3 Months LPN Contract - Local, Consistent Shifts, Supportive Staff
Locations: Kirkland, Kenmore, Snohomish
Contract Pay: $45-$55/hr
Looking for a short-term opportunity for the holidays, close to home?
Alliance Nursing is hiring temporary LPNs for 2-3 month contracts in our Adult Family Homes. These roles are ideal for nurses who want reliable shifts, a calm work environment, and meaningful patient connections-without the travel, housing demands, or constant facility changes common in agency contract work.
Why This Contract Is Different
Our Adult Family Homes are small, high acuity care settings with consistent routines and long-term residents. You'll work with the same small team and the same four residents during your contract-no floating between dozens of units, no unpredictable assignments, and no high-turnover chaos.
What You Can Expect
-
Low Patient Ratio (1:4) 24/7 Aide Support
Time to assess properly, plan care, and support clients safely. -
Calm, Home-Like Environment
No facility noise, constant call lights, or overcrowded units. -
Structured 12-Hour Shifts
Full-time hours during your contract without burnout. -
Hands-On Training Provided
Especially for trach, vent, or respiratory care-no one is put on a shift unprepared. -
Consistent Support
24/7 clinical leadership available for questions or guidance.
This is true continuity of care, even in a short-term role.
The Opportunity
As a Contract LPN, you'll provide skilled care for adults with complex medical needs-including chronic respiratory support, neurological conditions, and long-term disabilities-within one of our medically supported Adult Family Homes.
You'll use your clinical judgment, assessment skills, and calm demeanor to support a small group of residents who rely on steady, reliable nursing care.
These contracts are ideal for nurses seeking good pay, predictable work, and a supportive, low-stress environment.
