We’re currently looking for MRI Techs who may have availability on Saturdays — whether it’s just one Saturday a month or all of them. We’re trying to build and strengthen our PRN pool and would love to add a few reliable techs who can help with weekend coverage.

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an MRI Technician working on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.! In this vital role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will ensure high-quality imaging services delivered with precision, safety, and compassion. Duties
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging results.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to established protocols and safety standards.
- Apply thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately capture images of targeted areas.
- Maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
- Review images for quality assurance and collaborate with radiologists or physicians for interpretation and diagnosis.
- Document all procedures meticulously in patient records, including technical details and observations related to medical terminology and diagnostic findings.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated according to manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to continually enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices in a clinical setting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining precise records of procedures performed.
- Effective communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals.
- Certification or licensure as an MRI technologist is preferred; ongoing education in advanced imaging techniques is advantageous. Pay: $41.73 - $50.25 per hour
